The Complete Definition of Health (Part 1)
“The greatest root of problems in the world comes from the fact that our way of thinking is completely opposite to how nature operates.” When we delve into human conflicts and illnesses, this statement resonates deeply.
Due to the thinking patterns ingrained by my profession and my deep connection to hospitals in the first half of my life, vivid images of hospital scenes frequently surface in my mind. Rationally, I know this should not be the norm.
It is not the body that is sick—it is the mind. The problem does not lie in physiology but in psychology. The core issue with modern healthcare is that it treats symptoms rather than addressing the root causes. As a result, conditions continue to worsen, and the misguided approach remains wrapped in public demand.
Two forms of marketing have long misled people. One is deficiency marketing, which convinces people they lack something and need supplementation. The other is fear-based marketing, which persuades people that they are abnormal and need correction. The mindset of deficiency contrasts with the mindset of abundance, just as self-doubt contrasts with self-confidence. Those who adopt the former are more prone to illness. A weakened immune system stems from deep-seated psychological factors, while negative emotions are fueled by underlying human intentions.
Repeating the same mistakes stems from the same thinking patterns or stubborn personality traits. For example, if someone has a history of deception and you keep falling for their lies, it is either because they are exploiting your kindness or because they are manipulating your foolishness.
Philosopher Stephen Covey introduced The Third Alternative, demonstrating a key approach to resolving interpersonal conflicts: stepping outside the two opposing positions to adopt a third-party perspective.
The rigid doctor-patient relationship we are familiar with is nothing more than an ongoing drama, where doctors exhibit arrogance and refuse to admit mistakes, while patients are left in pain and confusion. Unless we cultivate a third-person perspective on our own bodies, the human mind will remain under the control of pharmaceutical companies worldwide.
The medical industry not only misguides people about illness on a large scale but also remains stubbornly unwilling to change. This situation will continue to affect future generations. Such defiance of natural laws severely drags down the quality of human life.
When it comes to healing, widespread collective biases pose a severe threat to human survival. The massive cover-up of these errors disregards the well-being of future generations.
The philosophy of the body needs to be systematically and effectively promoted. Raising awareness of bodily intelligence must become an integral part of social education. The concept of health preservation requires a completely new perspective and way of thinking.
Looking back at nearly thirty years of health-related information, what has it focused on? Aside from the medical field, we mostly hear about nutritional components, weight loss, and fat reduction. If not a new dietary approach, then it is another doctor’s or nutritionist’s success story in health preservation.
When I first mastered fasting, the initial experience was a strong violation of conventional wisdom. My intuition sent me an even stronger message: This is the right direction.
At that time, I knew I was observing the world from a completely new perspective, but I had no way of predicting where this path would lead me.
Over time, my realizations shifted from abstract concepts to direct bodily experiences. It became clear that every thought that leads away from illness is rooted in the body itself—and that the body’s capabilities far surpass the arrogance of medical thinking.
Inside my own body, a compromise was taking place between my brain and my physical being. It felt as if they were finally communicating. The brain’s main message was an awakening—an admission of having been lost for too long, of having strayed due to a lack of deep understanding.
The body understood, but it also issued a warning. It had been doing its job all along, yet it was never acknowledged, never supported.
For years, I stood firm in my advocacy for the body’s perspective. The cases I encountered offered me an increasingly diverse outlook, gradually dismantling traditional health beliefs—not because they were entirely wrong, but because they were insignificant.
From medication to nutritional supplements, we have been approaching health from the wrong angle. The primary source of nutrients should be food itself, and what the body truly needs is the replenishment of life force.
A newborn’s life force is stored in the mother’s breast milk, where abundant vitality is concentrated through maternal love. However, due to inadequate and misguided education, we are led down a different path. Following the doctrines of modern nutrition, infant formula has paved the way for a widespread allergy epidemic.
The reckless actions of a few and the blind compliance of the majority—these two factors are not only the ingredients for disaster but also the very components of disease.
The body is not just a recorder of thoughts; it is also a storage vessel for emotions. As we constantly eat and rage, our bodies suffer. As we deprive ourselves of sleep and blindly follow Western medicine, our bodies silently weep.
Having analyzed numerous cases from the body’s perspective, I have come to a single conclusion: As the highest form of life, possessing a human body, we have no reason not to love ourselves. Failing to cherish the natural gifts of our bodies is a grave violation of the laws of nature.
